Benefits of Servicing
Filter cleaning
A clean of your filter to remove dirt & discolouration, as well it's condition being reported, replacement filters identified if necessary - a crucial part of keeping your hot tub clean. Dirty filters can produce cloudy water, increased chemical consumption flow errors & increase your running costs by 25%!

System tested to ensure correct operation
To ensure the system is operating as it should include the pumps, pump speeds & heater element - a few examples of things which may not be operating as expected and photographed below - incorrectly sized equipment installed, such as a 3kW heater in a 13amp tub; incorrectly installed PCB leading to too high amps being drawn; incorrect wiring size (1.5mm for 28+ amps - fire hazard) and a faulty pump capacitor causing a pump not to work the customer didn't realise was installed - no more dead legs in the system and 50% more jets!

Acrylic shell cleaned
Once all the water is removed any imperfections in the shell such as marks, rust or dirt which can removed - will be.

Interior cover cleaned & sanitized & exterior cover cleaned & UV protected.

The cover and stitching will be cleaned & sanitized topside & underside - then vinyl UV protected to extend it's working life.

Interior cabinet cleaned of debris
Whilst inspecting the cabinet any debris from installation, factory, previous work or depreciation will be removed.

Tighten all unions inside the cabinet

Loose or cracked unions will lead to leaks - keeping them tightening will keep the cabinet dry & components in better condition for longer.
Inspection of the circuit board

An inspection of the circuit board & spa pack, looking for anything unusual such as leaks, burnt spots, damaged fuses or water damage.
Plumbing inspected for leaks, deformities, joint failures, leaking jet housing

A visual inspection looking for any leaks coming from jet housing, diverter valves, failed gaskets, loose unions or damaged plumbing.
Acrylic shell polished
Our platinum service also offers a polish of the acrylic shell which can improve the look above the waterline, giving a more glossy appearance - as well as providing some protection from chemicals & UV rays.

Detailed report of findings - and a chance to ask for help with maintenance, operations or chemicals!
A benefit of choosing us over alternative companies, is you'll receive a copy of the service report - which means nothing is missed in the service - we won't forget to pass any information onto you & it's helpful to have for your future records!

Jets descaled & housing cleaned
Even if your jets look clean - there might be dirt/debris/grit behind them - all removeable jets (usually 2"+) are removed and soaked in descaler - the jet housings are vaccumed & cleaned.

Many other things included
Such as the condition of the shell, structure, prior chemical management - frequency of water changes, air control valves, lights. If theres any special requests or things you'd like looked at or explained - we can do so, just let us know in advance! A call out charge can also be avoided if we're already coming to service the hot tub - we just need to know which parts we need!
Any questions please get in touch!
Hot tub purged
Removes build-up of contaminants which have accumulated in the plumbing, leading to biofilm & bacteria growth. Purging the hot tub can lead to improved water clarity, a slightly more efficient plumbing system, and reduced chemical consumption.

Complete drain of the hot tub
All water drained & removed, to have a good clean of the shell & ensure all old water is removed.

Water refilled, any airlocks removed, chemicals rebalanced & system setup
Once the water is refilled, the system will be tested, any airlocks removed & then the chemicals will be balanced and the system setup. A great time to learn about chemical maintenance or the hot tubs cleaning features, such as filtration cycles.

Exterior panels cleaned
The exterior cabinet panels will be cleaned - then a vinyl dressing added to protect & rejuvenate the panels.

Check heater & pump seals & replace if necessary

Seals are used in jets, pumps & heaters to prevent leaks - they are perishable, especially with poor water chemistry - so changing when required is important to prevent leaks in the future.
Remove any obstructions or debris from wet ends of the pumps

Wet ends of pumps (unless not possibly to get to due to tub orientation) - will be checked for any debris & removed. Any obstructions can cause error messages, less flow from jets, unusual noises or even premature pump failure.
Assess operation of the topside control panel
A visual & operation check of the topside, looking for power, functioning correctly & all buttons working.

Visual inspection of electrical wiring for insulation & integrity
A visual inspection to see anything unsafe - such as exposed copper, incorrect crimps, unsealed connections, incorrectly stripped or damaged cable in any electrical connections.

Electrical component checked & recorded
Included in the platinum service is an electrical record of the voltage/amperage of the tub itself & it's components - can be useful to see the correct equipment is installed & spot any signs of components beginning to fail.

RCD checked
The most important safety feature for your hot tub, with water & electricity mixing so closely together. It should be checked numerous times a year - we can show you how to do this yourself in future & will ensure it's fitted and working during our service - whether you have a 13 or 32 amp hot tub. Prevents against electric shocks from faulty equipment. Only our bronze service does not test your RCD (unless requested).
Inspection of heater element, tube & sensors
In our platinum service we'll also have a look at the heater tube & can advise if there will be a benefit to replacing any parts due to rust or deterioration from poor water chemistry.
